The Institute of Aircraft Propulsion Systems of the University of Stuttgart is located on Campus Vaihingen. You can easily get there via public transport or by car.
By car
Exit the autobahn A8 (Munich – Karlsruhe) at the junction “Stuttgart-Vaihingen” towards” Stuttgart”. The second exit” Universität” directly leads to campus. Follow the roadsigns until you reach “Pfaffenwaldring”.
By train
Take a train to Stuttgart Main Station.

The S-Bahn lines S1(to Herrenberg), S2(to Filderstadt or Stuttgart-Vaihingen), and S3(to Flughafen/Messe) run regularly from Stuttgart Main Station, track 101 to Campus Vaihingen. Exit at “Universität”, the fourth stop after Stuttgart Main Station. Exit the S-Bahn station towards “Universitätszentrum” and take the path leading directly away from the stairs. As soon as you see a large parking area on your righthand side, cross the parking lot in that direction until you arrive at “Pfaffenwaldring”. Our institute has the number 6. Fly to Stuttgart Airport (STR).
